Laughter is the best Medicine! :D

When we laugh we utilize several parts of the body. During laughter the muscles in our arms, legs, abdomen, diaphragm and trunk contract and our breathing pattern is altered. We also create facial expressions. Scientists have found that laughing a hundred times is equivalent to a ten minute workout!

Laughter also increases the production of T-cells in the body that fight viruses and tumors as well as reducing the amount of stress hormones in the body. It has been found that laughter lowers blood pressure and increases the flow and oxygenation of blood. Researchers have found that people will often go to funny movies to relieve stress and expel any negative emotions. So go ahead and laugh a little!
